Serum growth differentiation factor-15 and clinical domain involvement in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies: a pilot study.

Serum GDF-15 was associated with an exploratory count of affected clinical domains in adults with IIMs, and no statistically significant correlations were detected with creatine kinase or the Medical Research Council sum score.

Long-term clinical course and extracerebellar manifestations of hereditary spinocerebellar degeneration.

Brain perfusion analysis revealed that reduced blood flow to the precentral gyrus at baseline was associated with the manifestation of pyramidal signs at the endpoint, and greater increases in the ICARS scores over time and an earlier onset of wheelchair dependence.
