Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengolahan Data Penduduk Kecamatan Madidir

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on increasing the efficiency of public services, particularly in the field of government administration. Madidir District, as one of the administrative areas in Bitung City, still faces obstacles in processing population data, which is mostly done manually. This process often causes delays in presenting information, recording errors, and difficulties in preparing reports. Therefore, a system is needed that is able to manage population data effectively and integratedly. This study aims to design and build a website-based Population Data Processing Information System for Madidir District, Bitung City, which functions to simplify the process of data collection, searching, updating, and reporting of population data. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using PHP as a programming language, MySQL as a database, and HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for user interface design. The results of the study indicate that the designed system is able to manage population data more quickly, accurately, and efficiently than manual methods. In addition, this system also makes it easier for sub district officials to produce population reports automatically and in real-time. Thus, the implementation of this information system can improve the quality of public services, accelerate administrative processes, and support the digitalization of governance in Madidir District.
