VaLiDRec: Variable-Length LLM-Aligned Semantic IDs for Generative Recommendation

VaLiDRec, a generative recommendation framework based on variable-length, LLM-aligned semantic identifiers, demonstrates that LLM-native variable-length semantic identifiers provide a more expressive and efficient paradigm for generative recommendation.
