Association of rs3736228 polymorphism in LRP5 gene with bone fracture and osteoporosis: a systematic review and updated meta-analysis

A subgroup analysis to explore the source of heterogeneity according to gender, race, disease, genotyping methods, control resources, female menopause, and HWE balance revealed a significant association between rs3736228 polymorphism and an increased risk of osteoporosis and fractures.
