Mechanisms of Transcriptional Regulation by Salicylic Acid Receptors.

This study elucidate how SA triggers transcriptional activation via NPR1 and relieves transcriptional repression mediated by NPR3/NPR4 and identified Mediator Complex Subunit 15A (MED15A) as a bridge between NPR1 and the Mediator complex governing transcription.

Copper Radical Oxidases Contribute to Virulence in Sclerotinia sclerotiorum

Phenotypic analysis of gene deletion mutants demonstrated that these genes differentially affect fungal development and virulence in S. sclerotinia sclerotiorum, providing insights that may contribute to future improved disease management strategies.
