Associations of sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity with hypertension: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Sarcopenia and sarcopenic obesity were both significantly associated with hypertension, however, substantial heterogeneity and the observational nature of the evidence warrant cautious interpretation and preclude causal inference.
