Risk Analysis and Security Controls for Office Networks Based on Ruijie Cloud
Office networks face risks of unauthorized access, uncontrolled bandwidth use, device disruption, and delayed incident identification, while relevant operational data are available in Ruijie Cloud logs and dashboards. This study aims to identify office-network security risk levels and evaluate the adequacy of controls implemented through Ruijie devices and cloud services. A quantitative descriptive case-study approach is used, based on log analysis, monitoring data, security configurations, and a risk matrix combining likelihood and impact. Results are presented through event frequencies, traffic trends, device status, risk levels, and control-implementation status. The analysis prioritizes risks associated with user access, device availability, abnormal network use, configuration changes, and incident response. Controls including authentication, access restriction, segmentation, monitoring, alarm notification, traffic limitation, and logging are evaluated using verifiable system evidence. The study concludes that integrating Ruijie Cloud logs into an identification–assessment–mitigation–monitoring cycle can strengthen objective and continuous decision-making for office-network security.
