Discovery of penicillic acid from mangrove endophytic fungi: anti-Vibrio screening and cell envelope disruption in V. parahaemolyticus

Findings indicate that penicillic acid inhibits V. parahaemolyticus and is associated with concentration-dependent impairment of cell-envelope integrity.
