OsELP3/ELP4, rice Elongator factor complex subunits, epigenetically regulates rice blast resistance.

Findings reveal that OsELP3/ELP4 regulates histone acetylation-mediated defense responses against M.oryzae, providing both theoretical foundations and genetic resources for developing blast-resistant rice cultivars.

Identification of CAMTA transcription factors and functional analysis of OsCAMTA4 in rice blast and salt stress

The actual presence of the OsCAMTA4 gene has no significant effect on rice yield over wild type, supporting its potential for improving salt tolerance and disease resistance without yield loss, and provides a new target for breeding broad-spectrum stress-resistant rice.
