Let $R_n$ be the infimum of the inradii of $\{z:|p(z)|<1\}$ over monic degree-$n$ polynomials whose zeros lie in the closed unit disk. We prove $nR_n\to\pi/2$, matching the asymptotic obstruction supplied by $z^n-1$. We first establish the exact universal radius $2^{1/n}-1$ for disks centered at zeros, which recovers the $(\log2)/n$ bound. Small inradius then forces radial concentration of the zeros and decay of their low reciprocal moments. These estimates give an entire limit with a modulus reflection identity; a second rescaling produces an exponential tangent and strict sublevel disks of every radius below $\pi/2$. The proof is accompanied by a Lean~4 formalization and a step-by-step source index.
We establish Berry-Esseen bounds for the number of real roots of Gaussian Weyl polynomials $P_n$, where $n$ denotes the degree and is assumed to be sufficiently large. For each fixed $B$ above an absolute threshold, let $I_n=[-\sqrt n+B\sqrt{\log n}, \sqrt n-B\sqrt{\log n}]$. Uniformly over deterministic compact interv...
Let $E_2$ be the extraspecial group of order $3^5$ and exponent three. We prove that $d(E_2\times C_3^r)=2r+10$ for $0\le r\le3$. The upper bounds follow from signed zero-block identities and two finite statements in the four-dimensional symplectic space over $\mathbb F_3$. The first supplies edge weights for all compl...
Let $f_n:\{0,1\}^n\to\{0,1\}$ be Boolean functions, and let $C_n$ count their changes in a unit time interval under stationary dynamics in which each coordinate is independently resampled at rate one from the Bernoulli$(p_n)$ distribution. We prove that, if $f_n$ is transitive and $n\min\{p_n,1-p_n\}^{r}\to\infty$ for...
Let $\lambda_1(\Omega)$ and $T(\Omega)$ denote the first Dirichlet eigenvalue and torsional rigidity of a bounded convex domain $\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^2$, and let $M=\max_\Omega u$, where $u$ is the torsion function. We prove the sharp inequalities $\pi^2/24<\lambda_1(\Omega)T(\Omega)/|\Omega|<\pi^2/12$. This proves...
Friedlander and Iwaniec proved that the number of points of the orbit $\{\gamma i \colon \gamma\in\SL_2(\Z)\}$ lying at a distance $p-2$ from the origin $i$ of the upper half-plane, with $p\le x$ prime, is of order $x/\log x$; the upper bound is unconditional, while the lower one rests on a strong hypothesis concerning...
Let $A\in\mathbb{R}^{m\times n}$ have columns of Euclidean norm at most one. We prove that $\operatorname{disc}(A)\le2395\left(1+\log_+\frac n9\right)^{1/4}+2\sqrt2$. Here $\log_+t=\max\{0,\log t\}$. Building on Bansal and Jiang's affine spectral independence framework, we remove the $(\log\log n)^{7/4}$ factor from th...
