TL;DR
Among US patients with kidney cancer in SEER, SES disadvantage was associated with later diagnosis, lower partial nephrectomy use, and worse survival, and a newly developed composite socioeconomic status (SES) risk score and stratification showed a stepwise gradient.
PIR emerged as a robust predictor of comorbid CVD with strongest protection among younger, racial/ethnic minority, and early-survivorship subgroups, and support extending clinical guidance for CVD prevention beyond the current 5-year threshold and integrating economic screening into survivorship care.
