This paper presents an extension of CompL-it, currently the most comprehensive open computational lexicon of Italian, that enriches CompL-it with semantic traits and references to semantic types, enhancing CompL-it’s interoperability within the Linguistic Linked Data framework and strengthens its usability for NLP tasks such as word sense disambiguation, semantic role labelling, and knowledge grounding.
The proposed k-Multilingual Concept model allows to uncover novel layers of lexical knowledge in the form of multifaceted conceptual links between naturally disambiguated sets of words.

A layer-wise analysis indicates that surface-level features such as temporality and negation are captured more reliably than deeper semantic phenomena like quantification in large language models, highlighting the limited capacity of current LLMs to generate fully formal meaning representations.

SLITE is presented, an explainable hybrid model for Recognizing Textual Entailment that integrates two complementary layers of semantic analysis: a structural-relational layer, based on semantic compatibility and incompatibility between compositional entities, and a distributional-informational layer, based on structur...

Evaluating language technology for low-resource languages faces a fundamental challenge: the scarcity of native benchmarks suitable for systematic assessment. For Faroese, no such evaluation frameworks exist. We address this gap by presenting the first benchmark suite for Faroese semantic understanding and grammatical...

A hybrid WSD framework that combines contextual representations generated by Transformer architectures with structured semantic knowledge extracted from ontology-driven repositories is introduced, indicating that combining deep contextual learning with structured semantic knowledge provides a robust and interpretable s...
