Living Islam; Sociality Analysis of Islamic Values in the Digital Age of Tik Tok Media Wisdom
Abstract
The development of social media has changed the way people learn Islamic teachings, including in understanding and practicing the values of faith, in the digital New Era. TikTok is one of the digital media that is widely used by dai to convey Islamic messages in a concise, interesting, and easy-to-understand manner. This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of Living Aqidah on the TikTok platform through a thematic study of Surah Al-Ikhlas and hadiths regarding the strengthening of faith. The research uses a qualitative method with an option caption literature approach as a way to photograph the meaning of digital messages, namely in the form of messages; Living Qur'an and Living Hadith through observation of da'wah content on TikTok and content analysis. The results of the study show that social media is not only a means of spreading religious knowledge, but also a space for practicing religious values. This can be seen from the user's response in the form of comments, content sharing, and the practice of the teachings conveyed in the video. Surah Al-Ikhlas is the most widely used theme because it contains the concept of monotheism in a concise manner and becomes the basis of a Muslim's faith. Thus, TikTok shows the phenomenon of Living Aqidah, which is the presence of the Qur'an and hadith in the practice of digital society through interaction, understanding, and practice of Islamic teachings. This phenomenon is in line with the study of Living Qur'an which looks at how the Qur'an lives and is practiced in people's lives, including in the digital space.
