A Unified Iterative Algorithm for Variational-like Inequalities and Fixed Point Problems in Banach Space with Applications to Image Denoising

Aug 2026 · Symmetry · 0 citations · 36 references

Abstract

This paper introduces and analyzes an inertial projection iterative scheme for solving combined generalized general variational-like inequality problem (CGGVLIP), the zero problem associated with a γ-inverse strongly monotone mapping, and the common fixed-point problem of a finite family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in two-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. Strong convergence of the proposed algorithm to a common solution is established. The efficiency of the method is illustrated through numerical examples and validated via detailed figures. An application to image denoising is also presented to demonstrate its practical utility.

Accelerated Projection and Contraction Method for Solving QuasiMonotone Variational Inequalities in Hilbert Spaces

Motivated and inspired by a novel article of Tan and Li (2022) on projection and contraction method for solving variational inequalities, we introduce and study an improved and generalized version of their work. To be precise, we provide an iterative algorithm for solving variational inequalities with quasi-monotone an...

A DYNAMIC SIMULTANEOUS ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING SPLIT EQUALITY MONOTONE VARIATIONAL INCLUSION PROBLEMS

This paper introduces a dynamic simultaneous iterative scheme for solving split equality monotone variational inclusion problems in real Hilbert spaces, where the associated operators are assumed to be firmly quasi-non expan-sive. Under appropriate conditions on the parameters, we prove that the generated sequence conv...

A Three-Step Iterative Scheme for Nonexpansive Mappings: Convergence Analysis and Applications to Convex Optimization

This study focuses on a three-step iterative scheme, referred to as the NIP iteration, for the approximation of fixed points associated with nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach spaces. Weak convergence is established using Fejér monotonicity, asymptotic regularity and the demiclosedness principle. Strong c...

A New Iterative Method for Generalized Nonexpansive Mappings

In this article, we introduce a novel iterative algorithm, called the KK iteration scheme, for approximating fixed points of generalized ‐nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Weak and strong convergence theorems are established in uniformly convex Banach spaces (UCBSs) under suitable assumptions. The computational...

A Four-Step Iteration Scheme to Approximate Fixed Points of Generalized (α, β)-Nonexpansive Type 1 Mappings with Application

In this paper, we introduce a four-step iteration scheme for approximating fixed points of generalized (α, β)-nonexpansive type 1 mapping. We prove the convergence and stability results for contractive-like mapping in uniformly convex Banach space. We also prove weak and strong convergence results for generalized (α, β...
