It is found that the inflammatory molecule interleukin-1 beta (IL1β) was reduced in PTC tissues and was associated with lymph node metastasis and was associated with lymph node metastasis.
Abstract
Simple Summary Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common type of thyroid cancer (THCA), and although most patients have a good prognosis, some patients develop aggressive disease with lymph node metastasis and recurrence. Inflammation-related factors are increasingly recognized as important regulators of tumor development, but their roles in PTC remain unclear. In this study, we found that the inflammatory molecule interleukin-1 beta (IL1β) was reduced in PTC tissues and was associated with lymph node metastasis. Increasing IL1β levels inhibited tumor cell growth, migration, invasion, and promoted cancer cell death. Further investigation revealed that IL1β suppressed tumor progression by increasing SMDT1 gene expression and reducing MAPK signaling activity. These findings provide new insights into how inflammatory signals regulate THCA progression and suggest potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets for patients with aggressive PTC.
MiR-770 has been introduced as a potential marker in the prognosis of various cancers as well as in the early identification of tumor formation, progression, and metastasis.
Lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) is associated with limited therapeutic options and poor clinical prognosis. The Octamer nucleotide--binding transcription factor (NONO), which lacks the POU domain, is implicated in nearly every aspect of gene regulation. It participates in various biological processes including cell...

Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) usually has a good prognosis, but a subset of patients develops lymph node metastasis, radioiodine resistance and recurrence, and lacks effective molecular biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Cathepsin S (CTSS), a lysosomal cysteine protease, has been implicated in several malignancies...
This review aims to examine the emerging roles of OSM in BC, elucidate its multifunctional role in tumor regulation and progression, and ultimately explore therapeutic strategies developed to modulate this cytokine in the context of BC.

The results suggest that the pro-tumorigenic effects of XPR1 in thyroid carcinoma cells, manifested by increased cell growth, motility, invasiveness, and reduced susceptibility to apoptosis, may be partly associated with NF-κB signaling.
