Abstract
This study aims to develop a web-based Management Information System for the Bina Eksel Mandiri Course and Training Institute to improve administrative efficiency and enhance service quality for both participants and institutional administrators. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and literature reviews to identify system requirements and existing administrative challenges. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, consisting of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The resulting system integrates the management of participant data, instructor information, training schedules, attendance records, assessment results, and activity reports into a single web-based platform that is easily accessible and user-friendly. System functionality was evaluated using Black Box Testing, which demonstrated that all features operated successfully according to user requirements without significant errors. The implementation of the system improved administrative efficiency, accelerated data processing and storage, minimized recording errors, and enhanced the quality of institutional services. Overall, the developed management information system provides an effective, integrated, accurate, and sustainable solution for supporting administrative management and improving operational performance at the training institution.
Mosque management requires an integrated information system to support the management of mosque data, preachers, religious lecture schedules, and administrative activities more effectively. However, the existing management process is still largely conducted manually, resulting in data inconsistencies, scheduling conflicts, and delays in information dissemination. This study aims to evaluate the functional performance of the Web-Based Mosque Management Information System (SIMAKMU) using the Black Box Testing method. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach by testing the main functional features of the system, including user authentication, dashboards based on user roles, mosque data management, preacher data management, lecture schedule submission, schedule confirmation, notifications, and logout functions. The testing process was carried out by comparing the expected outputs with the actual outputs generated by the system without examining the internal source code. The results indicate that all testing scenarios were successfully executed and achieved Valid status, demonstrating that every feature functioned according to the predefined system requirements. These findings indicate that SIMAKMU has fulfilled the required functional aspects and is suitable for supporting integrated mosque management activities. The implementation of the system is expected to improve administrative efficiency, facilitate coordination among mosque administrators and preachers, and minimize scheduling conflicts in Muhammadiyah mosque activities.

Advances in information technology have had a positive impact on various fields, including administrative management in the educational sector. At the Muhammadiyah Al-Furqon Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya—the subject of this study—the process of issuing student leave permits was previously conducted manually, often leading to challenges such as delays in record-keeping, data errors, and inefficiency. Additionally, parents had to visit the boarding school in person to request a permit, which did not always guarantee approval. As a solution, this study designed and developed a web-based student leave permit information system that can assist administrators in automatically recording and printing permission letters, as well as make it easier for parents to submit permission requests online. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Waterfall development model. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, literature reviews, and questionnaires. The feasibility study results, using the TELOS method, were as follows: Technical (96.7%), Economic (100%), Legal (100%), Operational (90.1%), and Schedule (88.5%), resulting in an overall score of 95.1%. These results fall into the "Highly Feasible" category, indicating that this website is highly effective in facilitating student permission requests for both parents and boarding school administrators.
The results indicate that the developed system is capable of facilitating the recording of student violations, managing student information, administering sanctions, and generating reports in a more structured manner and improves the speed, accuracy, and security of data management compared to the previous manual approach.

The management of tool borrowing and returning at PLAT H@ AUTO STATION Workshop in Semarang is currently carried out manually using record books. This process often leads to various problems, including difficulties in identifying the last mechanic who borrowed a tool, monitoring unreturned tools, searching transaction records, and preparing reports efficiently. These limitations reduce the effectiveness of inventory management and increase the risk of recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for tool borrowing and returning to improve the management of workshop equipment. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was built using the Glide Apps platform and provides integrated features for tool inventory management, borrowing and returning transactions, monitoring unreturned tools, recording tool conditions, and maintaining transaction history. System functionality was evaluated using the Black Box Testing method, and the results indicate that all features operated according to the specified requirements. The proposed system improves the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management by providing integrated data processing, simplifying transaction recording, enabling real-time monitoring of tool availability, and supporting faster access to inventory information. Therefore, the implementation of this system is expected to assist warehouse administrators in managing workshop equipment more effectively and to enhance the overall operational performance of PLAT H@ AUTO STATION Workshop.

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged government institutions to adopt digital transformation to improve administrative efficiency and service quality. The Tarub District Office manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, which previously relied on manual recording and physical archives, making document retrieval and archive management inefficient. This study aimed to develop a web-based e-archiving information system to improve the management of correspondence archives. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap for the user interface. The resulting system provides features for managing user data, employee data, archive codes, external agencies, incoming and outgoing correspondence, activity agendas, dispositions, and report generation. Functional testing covered form validation, document retrieval, file uploading, user access rights, and report generation, with all features operating successfully according to system requirements. The implementation of the e-archiving system improves the efficiency, accuracy, and organization of correspondence management at the Tarub District Office, thereby supporting higher-quality public administration services.
