Bidirectional Hybrid Quantum Communication of Two-Qubit States

Sep 2026 · Chinese Physics B · 0 citations

Abstract

This paper proposes a hybrid bidirectional quantum communication protocol, in which two parties simultaneously transmit two-qubit states: one via quantum teleportation (QT) and the other via remote state preparation (RSP). This approach establishes a more flexible model for bidirectional quantum communication. The protocol utilizes a specially designed maximally entangled quantum channel to enable hybrid bidirectional communication. By performing Bell measurements, joint projective measurements, and corresponding unitary operations, quantum teleportation from Alice to Bob and remote state preparation from Bob to Alice can be accomplished synchronously. Furthermore, the robustness of the proposed protocol is evaluated under three typical noisy environments, namely the amplitude damping (AD) channel, phase damping(PD) channel and the depolarizing (DP) channel. The proposed protocol provides a novel framework for effcient bidirectional quantum communication, with potential advantages in enhancing interactivity and optimizing resource utilization in future quantum networks.

Bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation of two-qubit states via an eight-qubit entangled channel

Using an eight-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel, we propose a novel bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation scheme involving three participants: a controller, Charlie, and two communicators, Alice and Bob. Alice can teleport an arbitrary two-qubit target entangled state to Bob, while Bob simultaneous...

Mentor-Initiated Asymmetric Bidirectional Quantum Teleportation Protocol for Arbitrary Qubit States

In this paper, a mentor-initiated bidirectional asymmetric quantum teleportation protocol is proposed. Unlike existing schemes that restrict the two-qubit state transmitted from Bob to Alice to a Bell-like form $\alpha|00\rangle+\beta|11\rangle$, our protocol allows an arbitrary two-qubit state to be teleported from Bo...

Quantum Teleportation Over a Noisy Relay Channel

Quantum teleportation and Bell measurements are considered in a noisy relay setting. We introduce two quantum relay-channel models with closed-form capacity formulas, motivated by the canonical quantum communication protocols of teleportation and superdense coding. In both models, the sender transmits a qubit, while th...

Weak-measurement assisted quantum teleportation fidelity enhancement under noise

This study presents an improved quantum teleportation protocol designed to enhance fidelity in noisy environments by combining weak measurements (WMs) with flip and reversal operations. In our scheme, Alice prepares a four-qubit entangled state and shares one of the entangled qubits with Bob, which serves as the quantu...
