AI-Enabled Dynamic Pricing Models in E-Commerce Logistics

Sep 2026 · Materials, Mechanics, Mechatronics, and Manufacturing · pp. 220-223

Abstract

A deep reinforcement learning-based artificial intelligence framework of time-based e-commerce pricing is introduced, in which the dynamic pricing is modelled as a Markov Decision Process based on demand trends, inventory, user behaviour, and logistical restriction. The method presents a DRCR-based rewarding mechanism, uses historical pre-training to defeat the cold-start issue and encourages continuous pricing to provide a finer control. Online field tests and offline testing show that there is better revenue conversion, accuracy of price and responsiveness of supply chain than manual pricing.
