DecentraFL Marketplace is introduced, a novel platform that combines blockchain technology with Federated Learning (FL) to create a fair, transparent, and collaborative environment for AI model development and trading.

Abstract

: The rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) has created significant demand for high-quality AI models. However, current platforms for sharing and selling AI models face major challenges: centralized control, high fees, and unclear monetization pathways for developers. This paper introduces DecentraFL Marketplace, a novel platform that combines blockchain technology with Federated Learning (FL) to create a fair, transparent, and collaborative environment for AI model development and trading. Our platform operates as a GitHub-like collaboration system specifically designed for AI models, with integrated cryptocurrency-based payment systems. The platform enables developers to upload AI models, collaborate on improvements through FL, and earn revenue when others use their models. We demonstrate how this approach addresses key problems in current AI model distribution while providing economic incentives for quality contributions. Performance analysis shows communication overhead reductions of 78-95% compared to traditional federated learning, with 37% lower computational costs and maintained model accuracy.
