Abstract* Background Social media marketing dynamics have been reshaped with the rise of micro-influencers, with the offering of community-driven and authentic brand engagement that goes beyond traditional celebrity endorsements and advertising. This study aims to systematically examine the micro-influencer research published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on identifying themes, research gaps, methodological characteristics, and providing future directions. Methods This paper focuses on providing a thorough systematic literature review (SLR) incorporating the PRISMA protocol on micro-influencers, while identifying interdependencies and relationships. 68 research papers were derived from the Scopus database, analysed through bibliometric and content analysis. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using a combination of VOSviewer and Biblioshiny packages. Results were analysed through thematic clusters, co-occurrence, and bibliographic coupling analysis. Results The analysis depicts a steady growth in publications accelerated with digitalisation and post-COVID consumer shift that placed a commercial value on small-scale influencers. Research is fragmented across authenticity, trust, engagement, sponsorship disclosure, and niche-domains for micro-influencers. The literature is geographically skewed towards the West and high-income Asian countries. Less longitudinal, mixed-method, andneuroscientific evidence with strong methodological concentration across quantitative survey, and computational methods was present. Algorithmic visibility, emerging platform comparisons, influencer labour, and non-commercial uses of micro-influencers were underexplored themes. Five research areas were identified from clustering. Conclusion Despite the rapid expansions, micro-influencer literature remains theoretically fragmented and unevenly distributed. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the literature on micro-influencers, synthesises these fragmented findings into an integrated cocneptual framework and provides implications and future research directions. Most studies focused on analysing a single platform with cross-sectional designs. This study highlights the need for thorough theoretical integration with methodological diversification, considering emerging platforms to better understand how micro influencers shape digital communication.
The temporal mapping suggests that influencer marketing is increasingly evolving from a promotional strategy into a broader digitally mediated social influence phenomenon involving interactions among influencers, consumers, brands, platforms, algorithms, and emerging technologies.

This study uses a hybrid methodology of bibliometric analysis and systematic review to critically review the existing research on corporate digital transformation (CDT) effects published between 2018 and 2025. Descriptive analysis shows that this research field was still in its infancy before 2022 and experienced an explosive growth period thereafter. China takes the lead in publication volume, while
Finance Research Letters
emerges as the most prolific journal and research results are predominantly concentrated in domains such as finance and economics. Keyword and thematic analysis indicate that “digital transformation” is the core keyword, and research themes have gradually expanded from basic dimensions like firm performance to diverse areas including ESG, supply chain management, and risk management. The evolution of CDT effects research proceeds along the lines of technological determinism, organizational adaptation, and social construction. This study advances a systematic understanding of the CDT effects by developing a bibliometric overview of relevant research and illustrating the field's conceptual framework and thematic interconnections. The findings offer empirical insights to guide managers in formulating differentiated digital strategies and assist policymakers in constructing supportive ecosystems for digital transformation.

This study aims to offer a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of global scientific literature on street vendors. Although there has been an increase in publications in the field of street vending and street entrepreneurship in recent years, this study attempts to assess publishing trends, patterns of scholarly collaboration, thematic focus areas and overall research impact, thereby conducting a literature review of key empirical studies to understand the definition, legality and challenges associated with street vending. This study seeks to create a robust conceptual and empirical framework to facilitate the progression of future research in this under-examined yet essential aspect of urban informal economies.
To thoroughly examine this topic, this study uses the Bibliometric VOSviewer 1.6.20 and the biblioshiny software for a bibliometric analysis, using Elsevier-Scopus as the database covering literature of the past 25 years from 2000 to 2025. The results were represented and discussed with the following approaches: references (research paper), countries, keywords, authors and institutions, and the key findings were graphically represented.
The findings underline the relevance of interdisciplinary approaches. The majority of contemporary research on street vendors and street entrepreneurs is rooted in public policy and urban planning, integrating bibliometric analysis and a systematic literature review.
This study demonstrates originality as it is one of the first studies to use a bibliometric analysis with a systematic approach to provide a detailed account of the state of the literature on street vendors and street entrepreneurs at a global level over more than 24 years. This paper contributed as a comprehensive global-level synthesis, identifying major conceptual shifts, dominant research clusters and emerging directions. This advancement would strengthen the originality claim.
This paper conducts a bibliometric exploration of research linking two concepts i.e. clusters and entrepreneurship, a domain that has expanded steadily over the past thirty years. Using 155 peer-reviewed articles sourced from the Dimensions database (1996–2025), the study applies the SPAR-4-SLR framework along with visualization software (VOSviewer) to identify intellectual patterns in publication trend, citations trend, influential journals, influential field of research and new themes map. The analysis highlights a consistent growth in publications from the early 2000s, with output peaking around 2021, followed by diversification into new thematic directions. Contributions are geographically widespread, though the United States accounts for much of the citation influence, particularly through foundational studies by Feldman (2001, 2005) and Sonfield & Lussier (2004). Among journals, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development leads in productivity, whereas Industrial and Corporate Change demonstrates higher citation impact. Bibliographic coupling reveals eight thematic clusters, centering on networks, social capital, proximity, and entrepreneurial capability as drivers of cluster vitality. Emerging topics such as digital entrepreneurship, artisanal industries, and handloom clusters suggest the field’s increasing socio-economic scope. Overall, the findings emphasize clusters as catalysts of innovation, entrepreneurship and regional competitiveness, while offering insights for scholars and policymakers interested in advancing sustainable and entrepreneurship-driven development.

The digital era has intensified academic interest in value co-creation as a key mechanism of value creation in interactive and technology-mediated markets. This study aims to systematically examine the development, intellectual structure, and research trends of value co-creation literature through a bibliometric review. Bibliographic data were retrieved from the Scopus database covering the period 2015–2025 and analyzed using bibliometric techniques to assess publication trends, geographical distribution, influential articles, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. The findings reveal a significant growth in value co-creation research, particularly since 2020, reflecting its increasing relevance across multiple disciplines. The results identify dominant research streams encompassing theoretical foundations grounded in service-dominant logic, customer-centric and behavioral perspectives, and emerging technology-driven themes associated with digital transformation. Despite its global diffusion, value co-creation research remains geographically concentrated. This study provides an integrative overview of the evolving value co-creation literature and offers insights for future research directions in the digital era.

This study aims to map the intellectual and conceptual landscape of the B Corp movement within the scientific literature through a quantitative bibliometric analysis. Utilising the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database, the research analyses 108 peer-reviewed articles published between 2007 and 2025. Data visualisation and network analysis, including co-authorship and keyword co-occurrence, were performed using the VOSviewer software. The results show that the number of publications has been growing exponentially since 2011, and the majority of the articles are in the business and management field. A total of 282 keywords were evaluated, and “B Corp” (total link strength: 315) and “Corporate Social Responsibility” (total link strength: 92) were identified as central conceptual pillars. The most cited influential work is by Julie Battilana and Alnoor Ebrahim, with 728 citations. Geographic concentration is still strong in the USA and Europe, but research on emerging economies, such as Türkiye, where there are presently 15 certified B Corps, is critically lacking. The results show a conceptual move from general corporate responsibility to specific issues of 'social impact' and 'employee ownership'. The paper concludes with a research agenda for future research that can help bridge the gap between global norms and local institutional contexts, particularly for researchers in Türkiye.
