Legal Compliance, Healthcare Management, and Patient-Centered Marketing Strategies in Contemporary Dental Practice Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract
Modern dentistry must also embrace the integration of clinical and legal concerns, healthcare administration, digital technology, and patient-centric marketing strategies. The current study has identified the aspects and possibilities influencing the practice of dentistry in the current context particularly with regard to regulatory requirements, ethical issues and organizational efficiency and patient safety, as well as communicating with patients based on trust. In dental offices good health care management is necessary also. Sustainable management and strategic planning, financial sustainability, optimising workflows, introduction of quality control measures and digital transformation are all part of the steps that need to be taken by dental practices. Patient centered marketing has also moved away from the concepts of promotion and marketing towards concepts of ethical communication, patient education, shared decision making, reputation management and long term engagement. The manuscript also highlights that these capabilities of AI, teledentistry, eHRs, digital scheduling and Healthcare 4.0 tools can enhance efficiency and patient experience, but also raise issues concerning cyber security, privacy, algorithmic accountability and digital governance. In conclusion, the study suggests that a successful practice of dentistry that is sustainable relies on the ability to balance business growth with professional ethics, compliance with management systems and on the use of evidence-based approaches to engage patients. Integrated governance models, standardized indicators of compliance and long-term assessments of the outcomes of digital and patient-centered practice should be created for future research.
