Recent Advances in Photochemical Synthesis of Homoallylamines
Abstract
Homoallylamines are important building blocks that have been widely employed in the construction of pharmaceutically relevant molecules and natural products. Consequently, there is a growing demand for the development of practical and modular methods enabling their rapid assembly. This review systematically summarizes recent advances in the visible‐light‐driven photochemical synthesis of homoallylamines, with a particular focus on various radical precursors, including imines, amino‐pyridinium salts, tertiary amines, and amino acids. Their applications in homoallylamine synthesis are classified and elaborated, while reaction mechanisms, selectivity regulation strategies, and the construction of asymmetric catalytic systems are discussed in detail. Finally, current challenges in this research area are summarized, and an outlook on future developments is presented.
