Strategic Analysis of Digital Twin Sustainability and Its Impact on Organizational Performance Dynamics: An Empirical Study of the Salahaddin University-Erbil Governorate
Abstract
The aim of the study is to examine the effect of digital twin capacity towards sustainability, organizational performance, strategic decision-making and innovation in service delivery at Salahaddin University based on the response of 86 survey respondents and quantitative research design. The study collected descriptive, correlational and regression analyses of the survey. The findings identify that the presence of digital twins—digital delivery of services; technological infrastructure; data-driven insight—influences all four discussed dependent variables in a positive significant manner. Digital twin capacity and service delivery innovation show the highest association, with a focus on the technology as an enabler of flexibility and efficiency. A substantive correlation between organizational performance and sustainability validates their theoretical conceptualization as facilitators of "sustainable performance." The findings thus validate that digital transformation is an electronic facilitator of sustainable and innovative performance in public service organizations. The research concludes by giving recommendations on how to advance the measurement of sustainability and enabling digital integration in higher learning institutions.
