Abstract

The development of sophisticated power conversion techniques is required due to the growing requirement for grid compliance and excellent power quality in modern electrical systems. System performance and dependability are negatively impacted by conventional rectification techniques’ low power factor, excessive harmonic distortion and inefficient use of electrical energy. Therefore, a Vienna rectifier-based topology is proposed in this study for effective three-phase AC to DC conversion with improved power factor correction and lower harmonic content. Furthermore, it is crucial to maintain a steady DC-link voltage under various operating circumstances, which needs for a successful control technique. To ensure, high-quality AC output with better voltage utilization and less distortion, a Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) based inverter is used along with a PI controller for accurate voltage regulation. For modern power electronic applications, the proposed model seeks to increase overall system efficiency of (98.98%), lower THD of (0.96%) and confirm dependable and compliant performance.
