Abstract
Advancements in information technology are driving digital transformation across various sectors, including education. School libraries are among the educational services that require the implementation of information technology. The library at SMKN 13 Jakarta is currently managed manually—covering everything from book and member data recording to loan and return transactions—leading to issues such as service delays, data entry errors, difficulties in information retrieval, and low administrative efficiency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based school library information system to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of library services. The Waterfall software development method was employed, comprising requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system utilizes a relational database and is implemented using web technologies, enabling access via a web browser. Experimental results demonstrate that all features function optimally, successfully reducing the time required to locate a book from 15 minutes to less than 2 minutes. Overall, the system has proven to have a strategic impact on improving library service effectiveness, reducing the duration of book-borrowing queues (time efficiency) by 80% to 90%. In terms of speed, the current system processes tasks 5 to 10 times faster than the previous method, while simultaneously improving information access for the academic community.
The rapid development of information technology has significantly influenced various business sectors, including the printing industry. This study aims to implement a web-based ordering information system at @M Grafika to improve efficiency and accuracy in business processes. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The application was built using PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap as the front-end framework to ensure a responsive interface. The results show that the system enables customers to place orders online, upload design files, and confirm payments easily. Meanwhile, administrators can manage product data, portfolios, and customer orders in an integrated manner. Cooperatives require integrated information systems to improve operational efficiency, financial transparency, and service quality in response to ongoing digital transformation. However, many cooperative accounting systems are still developed without a systematic requirements engineering approach, resulting in fragmented business processes and limited integration among organizational services. This study aims to design a web-based cooperative accounting management system for KPRI Bina Cipta by applying the Viewpoint-Oriented Requirements Definition (VORD) approach to systematically identify stakeholder requirements. A case study methodology was employed through interviews, direct observations, and literature review. System requirements were analyzed using VORD, followed by system modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and implementation using PHP, CodeIgniter, and MySQL. Functional verification was conducted through black-box and white-box testing. The proposed system integrates member administration, savings and loan management, merchandise transactions, payment confirmation, and financial reporting within a single web-based platform. The VORD approach enabled the identification of stakeholder-specific requirements, resulting in a more structured system design, improved data integration, enhanced transaction traceability, and greater accessibility of financial information for cooperative members. This study contributes to the implementation of requirements engineering in cooperative information system development and provides a digital solution that supports sustainable digital transformation and governance within community-based financial organizations.

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in logistics and transshipment services. In its administrative activities, leave application processes and the management of incoming and outgoing correspondence are still handled manually, resulting in longer approval times, difficulties in document retrieval, and a higher risk of data loss. This study aims to develop a web-based leave application and correspondence management information system for PT. XYZ to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative processes. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. PHP was used as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the system successfully integrates leave applications, incoming and outgoing mail management, and document archiving into a single application. Based on the testing results, all system functions operated properly and met user requirements. The developed system can accelerate administrative processes, facilitate data retrieval, and improve the effectiveness of document management within the company.

Manual administration of information technology assets, or management conducted through disconnected systems, frequently gives rise to complications in data recording, asset condition monitoring, and report generation. This study was conducted to design and develop a web-based application capable of supporting integrated and well-structured asset management. The development approach adopted encompasses several key stages, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and functional testing. The application was built utilizing PHP programming laguage under the Laravel framework, with MySQL serving as the underlying database engine. A testing phase was carried out to verify that each feature operates in accordance with the established requirements. The findings demonstrate that the developed application effectively supports asset data administration, borrowing and return transaction processing, as well as report generation. Advancements in information technology encourage MSMEs to utilize information systems to enhance the effectiveness of their business management. Es Teh Arjuna, an MSME in Tegal City, faces challenges in monitoring partner sales and managing revenue because transactions are recorded manually using disparate methods; this results in slow data recapitulation, a risk of recording errors, and difficulty for the business owner in quickly accessing sales information. This study aims to analyze requirements, design, develop, and test a web-based information system for partner sales and revenue that provides information in real-time. The Waterfall model was used for system development, while data collection involved observation, interviews, and a literature review. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL and tested via Black Box Testing. The results demonstrate that the system successfully integrates sales data from all outlets into a centralized database, streamlining the management of products, outlets, employees, cashiers, and sales transactions, as well as facilitating the generation of revenue reports for specific periods. Furthermore, the system enables the business owner to monitor sales performance more quickly, accurately, and systematically, thereby supporting decision-making and improving the operational efficiency of Es Teh Arjuna
Microsoft Excel is still utilized by the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade (DISKUMDAG) of Landak Regency as the primary tool for data management and official travel reporting. This condition leads to difficulties in data retrieval and updating, risks of errors in cost calculation and data duplication, as well as an unintegrated process of report preparation and budget usage monitoring. As a resolution, a web-based official travel reporting information system was developed to facilitate the tasks of the Secretariat Division admin in managing official travel reporting data, while also providing information that supports the decision-making process for the Head of the Department. The Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed in this study, with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method encompassing three stages, namely requirement planning, design workshop, and implementation. The Laravel framework with MySQL database was used as the foundation for system development. System testing was conducted through Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) involving 20 individuals, consisting of 10 individuals with competence in the IT field and 10 employees of DISKUMDAG Landak Regency. The results of the Black Box Testing indicated that all system features functioned properly, while through UAT, a user acceptance rate of 90.92% was obtained. Based on the overall testing results, it can be concluded that the system has been well accepted by users and is considered to have met the requirements in the process of managing and reporting official travel
