Abstract

Communication during emergencies. The issue becomes a major challenge during emergencies. The project introduces a solution based on LoRa. The design of the ‘Smart Wireless Communication System’ was aimed at the creation message broadcasting. It comprises an interconnection of three LoRa modules with GPS, OLED display, and dual push-button controls. A specific button makes it possible to deliver a food assistance request with GPS coordinates, while the SOS button presses an urgent “Need “Help” alert with location information. The messages sent are received through OLED displays of all interrelated modules that enables the sharing of information in an expedited manner and is independent of mobile networks. Power Efficiency and Successful Transfer Ratio are observed in order to validate the reliability. This proposed solution offers a financially effective and robust safety communication network, which is quite helpful for rescue work, disaster management and rural uses.
