Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Ular Tangga untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Kelas III Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika
Abstract
This study aimed to develop snakes and ladders learning media and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving the creative thinking skills of third-grade elementary school students in mathematics. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects were 50 third-grade students at SDN Sertajaya 05. Data were collected through validation sheets from media, material, and language experts, teacher and student response questionnaires, and creative thinking tests administered through pretest and posttest. The results showed that the developed media obtained an average validation score of 92%, categorized as very feasible. Teacher and student responses reached an average of 92%, categorized as very practical. The average pretest score increased from 20.58 to 36.14 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.58, categorized as moderate. Analysis of creative thinking indicators showed improvements in fluency (0.32), flexibility (0.47), originality (0.67), and elaboration (0.59). Therefore, the developed snakes and ladders learning media is valid, practical, and effective as an alternative mathematics learning medium to support the development of creative thinking skills and create meaningful, active, and enjoyable learning experiences in mathematics classrooms.
