Abstract

Digitalization has become a strategic necessity for improving company efficiency and competitiveness. PT. Amelia Putratama Mandiri, a cement company, faces crucial challenges such as delayed sales reporting, limited real-time operational monitoring, and a high reliance on manual processes. These challenges pose a risk of information delays and recording errors, which impact business decision-making. This research aims to develop and implement an integrated e-monitoring and sales reporting system to support the digitalization of the company's business processes. This system is designed to improve transparency, speed data access, and reporting accuracy, while also facilitating real-time monitoring of operational and sales activities. The development method used is Agile Development, which emphasizes an iterative and collaborative approach between the development team and users. Development is carried out through several sprint stages, starting from needs identification, interface design, system development, and testing and implementation. This approach allows the system to be flexibly developed according to field needs and continuous user input. The implementation results show that the developed e-monitoring and sales reporting system successfully integrated sales and monitoring processes into a single web-based platform. User testing indicated that the system improved reporting accuracy, accelerated information access, and enhanced operational monitoring efficiency at PT. Amelia Putratama Mandiri.

With the growth of e-commerce, continuous improvement projects are essential for enhancing operations. This work aims to develop a Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard to improve project management, providing greater efficiency in monitoring initiatives and visibility for stakeholders. To this end, the research methodology used was action research, which allowed for the identification of practical needs, the collection of relevant data, and the implementation of a solution directly within the organizational environment, ensuring that the tool met the specific demands of the study area. The project management BI dashboard centralized information that was previously scattered across spreadsheets, providing greater organization and standardization of project data. Furthermore, the tool improved the visualization of strategic indicators, such as project status, resolution time, and progress, allowing for real-time monitoring. Key results included improved operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The developed solution facilitated communication with leadership and key stakeholders through structured reports and insights, contributing to greater agility in decision-making processes.

Agile Development of Point of Sale Applications with Real Time Inventory and Dashboard Integration

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) increasingly need integrated digital systems to support transaction recording, inventory visibility, and managerial decision-making. Geprek BEJO, a culinary MSME in North Jakarta, previously relied on manual sales and stock recording, which created risks of incomplete transaction documentation, delayed report preparation, and inconsistencies between sales records and raw-material availability. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based Point of Sale (POS) application integrated with a web dashboard for transaction-triggered, API-based inventory and sales-data synchronization rather than empirically measured real-time performance latency. The system was developed using Agile Scrum through observation, interviews, literature review, requirement analysis, UML modelling, sprint-based development, implementation, and evaluation. Flutter and Dart were used for the Android cashier application, while Laravel and MySQL supported backend services, centralized data storage, and API-based data exchange. The system provides authentication, product and menu management, sales transactions, automatic inventory updates after completed transactions, receipt printing, branch management, and report export features. Functional validation using Black Box Testing covered 42 scenarios across the Android application and web dashboard; all scenarios were successfully executed, yielding a 100% functional success rate within the tested feature scope. Usability testing with Geprek BEJO users produced a score of 90.5%, indicating high perceived user acceptance. These results demonstrate the system’s functional feasibility for MSME operational digitalization, while not yet proving transaction latency, long-term operational impact, data security, synchronization reliability under load, or scalability across multiple branches.

DEVELOPMENT AND USABILITY EVALUATION OF A WEB-BASED SALES AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MSMES USING RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) commonly face operational challenges in managing sales transactions and inventory records because of manual recording, non-integrated data, stock discrepancies, and delayed report preparation. This study aims to develop a web-based sales and inventory management information system for MSMEs using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and to evaluate its usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The RAD method was implemented through requirements planning, user design, rapid construction, and cutover stages, enabling iterative refinement based on user needs and feedback. The developed system includes dashboard monitoring, product management, customer and supplier management, sales and purchase transactions, automatic stock updates, inventory monitoring, low-stock detection, report generation, and user access management. System functionality was evaluated using black-box testing involving 20 test scenarios. The results showed that all tested functions were valid, resulting in a functional validity score of 100%. Usability evaluation was conducted using SUS with 15 respondents. The average SUS score was 85.33, indicating that the system was acceptable and had good usability. These findings show that the developed system can support MSMEs in improving transaction recording, inventory accuracy, stock monitoring, and report preparation. Therefore, integrating RAD-based development and SUS-based evaluation can produce a functional and usable information system for MSME sales and inventory management.

Agile-Based B2B Web Application Development Approach for Enhancing Competitive Advantage

This research addresses the gap in agile software development methodologies for cooperative enterprises by investigating the implementation of a Business to Business (B2B) web application for wholesale distribution systems. The study aims to develop a system using Agile methodology with Scrum framework and evaluate user acceptance through System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment. Data collection for user story creation employed purposive sampling to conduct structured interviews with key stakeholders to generate comprehensive user stories. The web application focused on functional requirements and user experience preferences to inform the iterative development process. The developed system incorporates eight core functionalities: distributor information management, geographical store mapping, map-based order reporting, delivery documentation, order history tracking, payment monitoring, accounts receivable management, and customizable sales analytics. System evaluation yielded a SUS score of 19, indicating excellent usability The application enables strategic customer segmentation based on order volume and geographical distribution, facilitating data-driven marketing strategies through behavioral analytics. Implementation results demonstrate enhanced operational efficiency with real-time accounts receivable monitoring providing critical financial insights for strategic decision-making. The system contributed to increase in Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) milk market share compared to the previous year, validating its business impact. Statistical analysis demonstrates Agile methodology’s effectiveness in developing stakeholder-aligned applications for agricultural enterprises. Ultimately, this research highlights how adaptive software development can drive modernization and economic resilience in the dairy sector.

Designing a Web-Based Inventory System Using the Agile Method for Management Efficiency in Buduran District

The rapid development of information technology has had a major impact on various aspects of government administration, including asset and inventory management. In Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency, inventory data recording is still done manually. This unintegrated system often causes data inconsistencies, difficulties in tracking goods, and inefficiency in the reporting and auditing processes. To overcome these problems, this study designed a web-based inventory information system using the Agile development method. The Agile method allows for gradual system development with user feedback at each iteration, making the system more adaptive to field needs. This system enables digital inventory recording, tracking, and reporting, thereby improving the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of asset management. Testing using the Black Box method showed that all system features, both from the user and admin sides, worked as expected with a 100% success rate. In addition, the results of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed a user satisfaction rate of 95.6% from five respondents, consisting of two administrators and three staff members. The developed system is expected to improve operational effectiveness and support better decision-making in asset management at the sub-district level.
