Abstract
This community service program aims to improve administrative management effectiveness through the implementation of a web-based information system at SMK Al-Maliki Sukodono Lumajang. The main problem faced by the schools was the use of manual recording systems, which resulted in low efficiency, high risk of data errors, and limited access to information. The methods employed included needs analysis, system design, implementation, as well as user assistance and evaluation. The results indicate that the developed system successfully improved work efficiency, data organization, and reporting processes. User evaluation revealed a very high level of satisfaction, with 73% of respondents being very satisfied with the system’s benefits, 67% with access speed, and 60% with ease of use. In addition, the system encouraged a shift toward technology- and data-driven work practices. Therefore, the implementation of the web-based information system is proven effective in enhancing school administrative governance and has strong potential to be replicated in other educational institutions with similar characteristics.
The advancement of digital technology has encouraged schools to utilize information systems not only for administrative efficiency but also to support educational quality and character development. This study examined the implementation of the Educational Management Information System (EMIS) in supporting character education at SMAN 1 Patean, Kendal Regency. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, administrative staff, students, the school committee, and parents. Data credibility was ensured through source and method triangulation, while analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that EMIS was systematically integrated into school management through planning, implementation, and evaluation. It enhanced academic administration, attendance, assessment, parent communication, and monitoring of students’ character development, thereby improving efficiency, transparency, and evidence-based decision-making. EMIS also functioned as a management control tool by providing accurate and integrated data for continuous improvement. The study concludes that EMIS is a strategic instrument for strengthening school governance and improving the effectiveness of character education, offering practical guidance for schools implementing digital education management systems.

This study evaluates the efficacy of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) as a governance tool within the Philippine public-school system. It specifically measures the outcomes of digitalizing administrative workflows on institutional performance and regulatory compliance. Utilizing a quantitative correlational design, the research analyzed data from 60 educational stakeholders in Cavite. The findings indicate that HRIS positively influences administrative processes and institutional performance, with a very high correlation (r = 0.82) identified between system implementation and administrative efficiency. While automation has improved tasks like payroll and attendance, the system remains moderately integrated due to technical and infrastructural barriers. The study recommends a standardized digital framework to achieve full optimization and data-driven governance.

The development of information technology has encouraged universities to improve the quality of academic services through the implementation of digital systems. One form of implementation is the use of the Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) or Academic Information System, which supports various administrative processes, including Study Plan Card (Kartu Rencana Studi [KRS]) submission, grade management, lecture scheduling, and the delivery of academic information to students. The presence of this system makes administrative processes more practical, efficient, and accessible to the entire academic community. This research aimed to examine the importance of implementing Academic Information Systems in improving the effectiveness of academic services in higher education. The study employed a literature review method by examining various scientific journals and references related to the implementation of SIAKAD in Indonesia. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify the benefits, challenges, and development opportunities of academic information systems. The results showed that SIAKAD implementation provides several benefits, including improved administrative efficiency, easier access to academic information, and enhanced service quality for students and lecturers. However, several challenges remain, including technological infrastructure readiness, user competency in operating the system, and the need for continuous system development to adapt to technological advancements. Therefore, effective management of SIAKAD is an important factor in supporting the improvement of higher education service quality.

Technology has become an essential component of school administration as educational institutions increasingly rely on digital systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and service delivery. However, despite its growing importance, limited evidence exists on the extent of technology utilization and the challenges affecting its implementation in the administrative functions of public schools in Legislative District 5, Isabela. This study assessed the utilization, perceived effects, challenges, and acceptance of technology in school administration as the basis for an improvement plan. The study employed a descriptive-normative research design involving 48 administrative officers and teachers with administrative assignments selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire, supplemented by interviews and documentary analysis, and analyzed using frequency, percentage, and weighted mean. The findings revealed that technology was often utilized, particularly in records management and communication systems, and was perceived to be moderately effective. Nevertheless, inadequate ICT infrastructure, limited digital competence, unreliable internet connectivity, and resistance to change remained serious concerns. Despite these challenges, respondents recognized the usefulness and ease of use of technology in improving administrative functions. The study concludes that strengthening ICT infrastructure, capacity-building initiatives, organizational support, and strategic technology planning is essential to achieving a more efficient, transparent, and data-driven system of school administration.

Digital transformation in education has encouraged schools to modernize administrative services, including new student admissions. However, many primary schools still rely on manual registration processes that often lead to inefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and limited access to information. This study aims to develop a digitalization model for new student admission services through a web-based information system in primary schools. A qualitative case study was conducted at SD Islam Al-Asri Palembang using observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation techniques. The study employed a prototype-based development approach to analyze existing admission processes and formulate a digitalization model that integrates registration, data management, verification, and reporting services. Model validation was carried out through practitioner review involving the school principal, administrative staff, and IT personnel, using three evaluation parameters: model practicality, completeness of the five service components, and contextual applicability within the primary school setting. The results show that the proposed model consists of five key components: digital registration, data validation, document management, admission status notification, and reporting services. The model simplifies administrative workflows, improves data accuracy, accelerates the admission process, and enhances transparency and accessibility for both parents and school administrators. The study concludes that the proposed digitalization model can support the modernization of primary school admission services and serve as a replicable reference for schools seeking to implement digital transformation in educational administration.

Digital transformation in educational management encourages schools to improve administrative efficiency through information technology utilization and adaptive leadership. Effective school administration requires the integration of digital systems that support data management, information accessibility, and decision-making processes. This study aims to analyze the effects of mobile-based management applications, web-based management applications, and leadership on school administrative efficiency in public elementary schools in Jumo District, Temanggung Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The sample consisted of 90 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results showed that mobile-based management applications, web-based management applications, and leadership had positive and significant effects on school administrative efficiency, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that the integration of digital technology and effective school leadership plays an important role in improving school administrative governance and supporting digital transformation in elementary education.
