Abstract
New nurses face many overlooked challenges as they transition into practice. This article explores how microaggressions and workplace incivility can undermine confidence, well-being, and retention and how emotional intelligence, effective communication, and conflict-resolution strategies can empower nurses; strengthen teamwork; and deliver safer, higher-quality patient care.
