Abstract

Two years field experiment was conducted during the Kharif season of 2024-2025 to evaluat the Effect of Organic Source of Amendments with Inorganic Amendments on the Growth and Yield of Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Cultivation Under the Partially Reclaimed Sodic Soil at Student Instructional Farm, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P), India. To ensure statistical reliability and minimize variability, the experiment was conducted using a randomized block design (RBD) with twelve treatment combinations, each replicated three times. The study aimed to evaluate crop performance and its interaction with different treatments under field conditions. In particular, the research focused on assessing the growth and yield characteristics of rice in order to identify practices that maximize crop yield. Among treatment 75% RDF + Press mud (2.5 t ha-1) + FYM (5 t ha-1) + Hydrogel (2.5kg ha-1) + PGPR show significantly effect on the crop growth attributes. Effect of FYM, Pressmud and PGPR on the crop growth rate (CGR) and relative growth rate (RGR) of the succeeding rice irrespective of the growth stages.
