Synchronizing Big Data and Digital Leadership for Strengthening Supply Chain Resilience and Sustainable Growth in Socio-Technical Perspective
Abstract
Frequent global uncertainties, technological acceleration, and growing project intricacies have severely vulnerable the construction sector, rendering supply chain resilience essential for continuous growth. Grounded in the socio-technical system (STS) framework, this conceptual article investigates how digital leadership (representing the social dimension) and big data analytics (representing the technical dimension) jointly reinforce supply chain resilience. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) of Scopus-indexed empirical research published between 2021 and 2026, the study demonstrates that robust supply chain resilience serves as a foundational driver for long-term organizational viability. Furthermore, integrating analytical capabilities with digital leadership optimizes risk mitigation and strategic decision-making in construction environments. A conceptual framework and corresponding propositions are presented to guide future empirical validation.
