Adaptive Event-Triggered Asynchronous Security Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Under Hybrid Cyber-Attacks

Abstract

This paper proposes a co-design framework integrating an adaptive eventtriggered mechanism (AETM) with an asynchronous fuzzy secure control strategy for networked Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) subject to limited communication resources, hybrid cyber-attacks, and asynchronous mismatches in fuzzy membership functions. First, a hybrid attack model combining random deception attacks and aperiodic denial-of-service (DoS) attacks is developed to accurately characterize the malicious disturbances and communication interruptions encountered in the networked control system. Second, to alleviate the pressure on limited communication bandwidth, an improved AETM with a dual dynamic adaptive threshold is adopted, which effectively suppresses redundant data transmission by dynamically adjusting the triggering condition while maintaining system performance. On this basis, considering both network-induced delays and asynchronous constraints of fuzzy membership functions, a unified closed-loop mathematical model integrating the improved AETM, hybrid cyber-attacks, time delays, and asynchronous characteristics is established. Furthermore, a Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional incorporating event-triggered information is constructed. By utilizing linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques, sufficient conditions guaranteeing the exponential mean-square stability of the resulting system are established, and the co-design of the fuzzy controller gains and event-triggering parameters is simultaneously achieved. Finally, simulation studies are conducted on a networked T-S fuzzy system of the PMSM, and the obtained results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach.
