Abstract

Driving accidents at night account for more than half of all road accidents and headlight glare is known to be a major risk factor to driver perception and decision-making. Even the current high beam assistance (which is already builtin high-class cars) is expensive and it lacks good effectiveness in detecting low beam vehicles, else it will be possible to scale up in developing nations. Sending the Root Key to the device using the RF communication, and controlling the adaptive headlight as per the Root key is the innovative proposed work in this Project. To minimize the glare strength, this system uses a light detector (LDR) to sense the intensity of the light oncoming towards the car and automatically switches to high or low beam as needed. Also, a wireless contact among vehicles allows the transfer of real-time signals, thus guaranteeing a coordinated reaction in the event of inadequate light sensing. L293D driver included to provide successful lighting mechanisms control. The solution not only improves road safety, but also decreases driver discomfort and is also an inexpensive option to improving the conditions of night-time driving in stock vehicles.
