In this regard the research domain of the concept of governance and the prospects of the future research has been explored. The semi systematic review has been done by focusing on the literature published from the year 1999 to 2025. The findings conclude that bureaucracy is vital parameter of governance and it needs to be explored, and more research needs to be done to oversee the interaction between governance and its related themes i.e. institutions, bureaucracy, corruption and growth. Furthermore, niche outcomes like well-being, development, entrepreneurship and regional dynamics are also integral part of governance related literature, and mandatory for the economic prosperity.
