Dynamic Non-Limiting Guided Implant Surgery and Full Arch Immediate Rehabilitation: The Q- GUIDETM Protocol
Abstract
Immediate full-arch implant-supported rehabilitation is a predictable treatment modality with excellent long-term success rates and strong patient satisfaction in esthetics, phonetics, comfort and function. Since the inception of the All-on-4® concept, advances in guided surgery, Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology and digital workflows have enhanced the accuracy, efficiency and predictability of both surgical and prosthetic phases. Successful outcomes rely on precise diagnosis and treatment planning, incorporating 3D Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) imaging, implant planning software and CAD/CAM fabrication to optimize implant positioning, prosthetic design and peri-implant stability. This article reviews the rationale, design and clinical workflow of the Q-GuideTM guided surgery and restorative protocol. By offering variable levels of guidance, from non-limiting to fully guided, this digital protocol ensures accurate information transfer from virtual planning to the clinical setting, enabling immediate functional and esthetic outcomes with a high degree of predictability.
