Abstract
This work examines a discretized Holling–Tanner predator–prey model with Beddington–DeAngelis functional response, incorporating the Allee effect on prey populations. A comprehensive analysis of the existence of all fixed points and local stability is carried out. The model exhibits multiple bifurcations of codimension‐1, including the flip and Neimark‐Sacker bifurcations. Furthermore, at a positive fixed point, codimension‐2 bifurcations such as strong resonances , , and are presented. Numerical simulations reveal the presence of chaotic behavior under specific parametric conditions. The OGY chaos control method is employed to manage chaos and stabilize the system in order to address this instability. The findings provide important insights into how the Allee effect influences ecological systems, expanding our understanding of the chaotic fluctuations in predator–prey interactions and population stability. Our analytical conclusions are supported by a detailed numerical simulation that includes stability zones, bifurcation curves in and , phase plots, and the maximal lyapunov exponent.
In this study, we analyze a three-dimensional discrete prey–predator model with Holling type II functional response. The existence and local stability of its fixed points are obtained in terms of system parameters. By employing the center manifold theorem, bifurcation theory, and critical normal form coefficients metho...

This paper investigates the local dynamics of a discrete predator–prey system incorporating an Allee effect and a Holling-IV functional response. After nondimensionalization, a positivity-preserving discrete model is obtained by the semi-discretization method. The non-negative fixed points are classified and their loca...
The authors' bifurcation-theoretic analysis of the coexistence equilibrium reveals key local transitions, including period-doubling and Neimark–Sacker bifurcations, which highlight the significant influence of the Allee effect on the predator–prey dynamics.

This paper develops a fractional-order ecological model describing one prey and two predator species with harvesting, predator interference, and a Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. Caputo fractional derivatives are incorporated to capture memory effects in population dynamics. The model admits a biologically fe...

In this research article, we consider a tritrophic food chain model consisting of one prey, one intermediate predator (mesopredator), and one top predator (superpredator). The novelty of this paper lies in the analysis of a tritrophic food chain model that combines a Holling type III functional response for the prey‐...
