2026 · Economic Herald of the Donbas · 0 citations · 6 references

Abstract

The article examines the role of visual information as an effective marketing tool for influencing consumer behavior in the context of a digitalized communication environment. The author characterizes the main types of visual content used in modern marketing practices, including graphic design, infographics, video, packaging, brand identity, and AR/VR technologies. The study outlines key psychological mechanisms through which visual communication fosters emotional engagement, enhances brand recognition, and stimulates purchasing decisions. Particular attention is given to the practices of leading global companies which exemplify the successful implementation of visual strategies in branding and consumer interaction. The paper emphasizes the significance of visual content in social media platforms, where images and video serve as primary tools of consumer engagement, as well as in the FMCG sector, where packaging design plays a decisive role in the product selection process. The luxury segment is also analyzed in terms of how visual minimalism, color harmony, and layout techniques communicate prestige and exclusivity. Additionally, the study provides examples from the Ukrainian market, such as the brand identity of «Nova Poshta», the packaging strategy of «Nasha Ryaba» products, and the visual communication approach of the online platform Rozetka. These cases confirm the growing importance of visual marketing in building brand loyalty and stimulating consumer activity. The author argues that visual representation is not merely an auxiliary aspect of marketing but a core component that integrates aesthetic, psychological, and informational dimensions of influence. The conclusion proposes directions for future research in the areas of personalized visual content, UX design, and cross-cultural adaptation of graphic information in global marketing strategies.
