Perancangan Sistem Absensi Berbasis Web Pada Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kabupaten Ngada
Abstract
Employee attendance at the Office of BKPSDM Ngada Regency is still conducted manually using an attendance book. This condition causes recording errors, delayed recapitulation, weak location and evidence validation, and potential data manipulation. This study aims to design a web-based attendance system capable of recording, storing, monitoring, and recapitulating attendance data in an integrated, fast, accurate, and transparent manner. The method used is Waterfall, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, functional testing, and maintenance, supported by a descriptive qualitative approach during the requirement analysis stage. The design is modeled using flowcharts, context diagrams, DFD, ERD, and table relations, and is built using PHP and MySQL. The system is equipped with GPS and geofence-based location validation and attendance photo evidence. The result is a web-based attendance system design and implementation with two main roles: admin and employee. Admin manages employee data, positions, attendance, leave, recapitulation, and monthly reports; employees perform clock-in, clock-out, leave requests, and view attendance history. Black box testing shows that all features function according to functional requirements. This system is expected to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of employee attendance management at BKPSDM Ngada Regency.
