In this paper, we establish upper bounds for the second eigenvalue of the Schr\"odinger operator $L=\Delta+|\sigma|^2+k$ on $k$-dimensional closed submanifolds of the compact projective spaces $\mathbb F P^m$, where $\mathbb F\in\{\mathbb R,\mathbb C,\mathbb H\}$, as well as the Cayley projective plane. The estimates are obtained by combining the standard spherical embeddings of these spaces with a conformal test-function argument. In the complex, quaternionic, and Cayley cases, the resulting bounds involve correction terms that record the position of the tangent spaces of the submanifold relative to the corresponding geometric structures. We also derive universal estimates depending only on the dimension of the submanifold and the underlying division algebra. We show that equality in the sharp estimates forces the submanifold to be totally umbilical. Finally, using known classifications of totally umbilical submanifolds, we compute the second eigenvalue for the standard real, complex, quaternionic, and Cayley models and identify the totally geodesic examples that attain the sharp upper bounds.

This paper is devoted to the study of the holonomy properties of $(2n+s)$-dimensional $\mathcal{S}$-manifolds equipped with their characteristic connection. These structures generalize Sasakian geometry to higher CR-codimensions and, when viewed as geometries with parallel skew-torsion, share many holonomy features wit...
In this work, a sharp K\"ahler spectral almost-rigidity theorem was established, resolving Conjecture 1.8 of Chu--Wang--Zhang. For compact K\"ahler manifolds satisfying $\Ric(\omega)\geq\omega$, pinching the first $n^2+3$ nonzero complex eigenvalues to one forces the manifolds to be Gromov Hausdorff close to normalized...
We consider scale-invariant curvature energies for immersions of closed manifolds of even dimension $n=2h$ into $\mathbb R^m$, with principal term $\int_{\Sigma} \big|\nabla^{(h-1)} \vec{\mathrm{I\!I}}\big|_g^2\,d\text{vol}_g$ and arbitrary lower-order polynomial extrinsic invariants of the same scaling. Following the...
We develop a framework for studying discrete subgroups of $\mathsf{PGL}(d+1,\mathbb{R})$ via the paracomplex hyperbolic space $\mathbb{H}_\tau^d$, a rank-$1$ pseudo-Riemannian symmetric space. We characterize projective transverse, relatively Anosov, and Anosov subgroups in terms of properly discontinuous, geometricall...
We study nonnegative entire spacelike graphs in Lorentz--Minkowski space satisfying $\sigma_k(A[u])=u^p$. For $2\le k<n$ and $p\ge k$, pointwise strict spacelikeness and closed $k$-admissibility yield universal bounds for the height and Lorentz factor. Their proof combines block coercivity in the full G\r{a}rding cone,...
