PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KELUARGA DAN KEBIASAAN BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 8 PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of family environment and learning habits on the learning outcomes of class XI students in economics subjects at SMA Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students and the existence of internal factors that are suspected to influence learning outcomes, namely learning habits and external factors, namely, the family environment. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population of this study was all class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Student learning outcomes obtained an average score of 69.25 with a good category. Based on the t test, the family environment has a significant effect on student learning outcomes with a t-count value of 2.770 and a significance of 0.009 <0.05. Meanwhile, learning habits have a significant effect on student learning outcomes with a t-count value of 2.494 and a significance of 0.018 <0.05. Simultaneously, family environment and learning habits have a significant influence on economics learning outcomes with an F count of 32.278 and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination value of 0.662 indicates that family environment and learning habits have a 66.2% influence on student learning outcomes, while the remaining 33.8% is influenced by other factors.
