Findings identify ATR as a compound capable of inducing biochemical features consistent with ferroptosis in ovarian cancer through suppression of the LUCAT1/STAT3 axis, and support its potential development as a targeted therapeutic candidate for ovarian cancer management.
It is suggested that gramine inhibits malignant progression and attenuates cisplatin resistance in OC cells, at least in part, through blockade of the PDK1/AKT pathway.

CCL suppresses breast cancer progression by inhibiting the novel SGOL2/METTL3/ICAM2 signaling axis and is presented as a promising natural lead compound and a novel chemical scaffold for targeted BC therapeutics.
Chemotherapy remains the mainstay treatment of many solid cancers; however, resistance and recurrence compromise patient outcomes. We investigated chemotherapy resistance mechanisms in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) by examining cells that survive chemotherapy-induced apoptotic caspase activation. Using a biose...

Matrine, a natural alkaloid with recognized anti-cancer potential, has been reported to induce cancer cell death. However, the mechanism remains incompletely defined. In this study, we investigated the pharmacological effect of matrine on colorectal cancer (CRC) using both in vivo tumor‑bearing mouse models and in vitr...
Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that threatens women's health and radiotherapy represents a major therapeutic approach for its treatment; however, radioresistance frequently leads to treatment failure. The present study aimed to investigate whether loperamide (LOP), a µ‑opioid receptor agonist commonly used as an...
Multi-dimensional experiments reveal BA may regulate ferroptosis via the potential STAT3/HO-1/GPX4 signaling axis and is a promising therapeutic alternative to conventional chemotherapy, which is limited by severe systemic toxicity.
