Abstract
This article analyzes the challenges of reducing the carbon footprint in the construction industry. It examines the structure of greenhouse gas emissions across all stages of a building's lifecycle. Technological solutions and Russian decarbonization cases are presented, using the Kaluga Region as an example. Key barriers to the implementation of low-carbon technologies are highlighted. A systematic approach to decarbonizing the Russian construction sector is needed.
