Abstract

We investigate an information-geometric approach to dense two-color QCD using thermal states defined as normalized Gibbs states in the two-flavor Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model at the mean-field level. The Bures metric and quantum Fisher information are constructed from thermal states associated with effective Bogoliubov--de Gennes Hamiltonians reproducing the mean-field quasiparticle spectrum. On the thermodynamic parameter manifold $(T,\mu)$, where $T$ is temperature and $\mu$ is quark chemical potential, we analyze information-geometric quantities including the trace of the QFI matrix and the metric-volume density. The numerical results show pronounced enhancements of both quantities near the color-superconducting phase boundary, whereas only weaker signatures are observed across the chiral crossover. By contrast, neither observable exhibits a distinct feature associated with the BEC--BCS crossover.

Quantum geometric bounds at finite temperature for one-dimensional chiral systems

The geometry and topology of quantum states are intimately related at zero temperature through exact bounds that constrain geometric quantities from below by topological invariants. At finite-temperature, however, the analogous relations remain unclear. Here we establish rigorous geometric lower bounds for one-dimensio...

How Quantum Is Bottomonium in the Quark-Gluon Plasma?

We study how much quantum structure bottomonium retains during its evolution in the quark-gluon plasma. Within the open quantum system framework, we simulate the Lindblad equation obtained from potential nonrelativistic QCD in the quantum Brownian regime. From the resulting real-time evolution of the bottomonium densit...

Finite-Volume Non-extensive statistical in QCD phase

Recently, some research has emerged that used the Tsallis statistics in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). In Tsallis statistics, the Tsallis parameter $\mathfrak{q}$ reflects long-range interactions, non-Markovian memory, and multifractal boundary effects, linking directly to temperature variance in fluctuating systems, wh...

Equation of state of dense magnetized QCD matter via a robust analytic continuation

We compute the equation of state of dense and magnetized strongly interacting matter using lattice QCD at a non-zero value of the lattice spacing. Our simulations employ $2+1+1$ dynamical flavors of rooted staggered quarks with masses tuned to the physical point. To conform with experimental constraints, we impose stra...

Vector-meson properties in a data-driven AdS/QCD model

We investigate the properties of $\rho$, $\psi$, and $\Upsilon$ mesons within a holographic AdS/QCD framework, capturing both their vacuum phenomenology and in-medium dynamics. By reconstructing flavor-specific gauge kinetic functions within a model originally developed to study thermodynamic functions, we compute the...

Born-Oppenheimer Effective Field Theory as a unified framework for all the XYZ exotics

We discuss some recent applications of the Born-Oppenheimer effective field theory (BOEFT) formalism, directly derived from QCD and grounded in scale separation and symmetries, to hadronic systems containing two heavy quarks. This formalism provides a unified description of both ordinary and exotic quarkonium states (i...
