Optimal Operation of Wind-Solar-Storage Integrated Smart Grid System
Abstract
This paper summarizes the research status and development trends of wind-solar-storage smart grid systems. As energy and environmental crises intensify, renewable energy has become crucial for power system development. Wind and solar power are clean but intermittent and unstable, posing challenges to grid stability. The emergence of energy storage technology solves this problem. It can transfer energy in time and space, making the system more flexible and reliable. This paper first analyzes the technical characteristics and grid-connected challenges of wind power and photovoltaic power generation. Then it systematically introduces the classification and application characteristics of energy storage technologies, and focuses on the key technologies and control strategies of coordinated operation of wind-solar-storage systems. On this basis, the paper comprehensively summarizes the research progress of wind-solar-storage systems in planning, optimal scheduling and coordinated control under the background of smart grids. Through the analysis of several typical cases, it is found that wind-solar-storage smart grid systems have great advantages in improving renewable energy consumption, ensuring power supply quality and enhancing grid flexibility. Finally, the paper looks forward to the future development of wind-solar-storage smart grid systems, and points out some innovative ways such as multi-energy complementation, virtual power plants and blockchain technology.
