Cloud Architecture for Large-Scale Machine Learning Workloads with Performance Optimization
Abstract
The development of data-intensive apps has rapidly risen the need of scaling and efficient machine learning infrastructures. The traditional cloud setup will normally have a performance bottleneck associated with under optimized allocation of resources, high latency, and dynamic variations in workloads. The paper describes a cloud architecture to support machine learning workloads at a large scale that provides mechanisms to optimize its performance. The suggested architecture will add an adaptive workload orchestration layer, which dynamically oversees computational resources distributed among cloud nodes on a distributed basis through predictive workload scheduling and workload-aware resource provisioning. A hybrid optimization policy is also included to balance both processing load, reduce the latency, and enhance system throughput and at the same time ensure efficient use of computing resources. The architecture combines intelligent monitoring, virtualization of resources and the deployment of containers to provide virtualization of both model training and inference processes. Moreover, the framework allows effective control of data pipelines and distributed model processes in heterogeneous computing systems. The proposed architecture is founded on the objective of increasing the efficiency of operation, lessening processing delays, and providing a scalable machine learning workflow in massive cloud ecosystems.
