Abstract

Introduction . Digital transformation of society has necessitated a rethinking of the role of education as a key social institution responsible for fostering human capital and digital competencies. The research addresses the need to define the directions for transforming the methodological system of instruction amidst the digital development of social institutions. The goal of the research was to substantiate the key directions of this transformation and to identify the interrelationship between changes in the educational environment and the components of the methodological system. The materials and methods . The research is grounded in systems, institutional, and competence-based approaches. Methods such as analysis and synthesis of scientific literature, comparative analysis, and modeling were employed to develop an original conceptual model for transforming the methodological system of instruction. The research results. It was established that the digital development of social institutions creates a new institutional environment for the functioning of education, thereby necessitating the transformation of the methodological system of instruction. An original conceptual model for this transformation was developed, illustrating the interplay between external institutional factors and the internal components of the educational process. A comparative analysis of traditional and digital instructional models enabled the identification of key directions for modernizing the educational process and fostering competencies relevant to the digital age. Discussion and Conclusion . The transformation of the methodological system of instruction is driven not only by the adoption of digital technologies but also by the institutional changes characterizing modern society.
