Abstract

This study explores the adoption and managerial value of microlearning in five-star hotels in Qatar, focusing on its role in operational training. Grounded in adult learning theory, the Technology Acceptance Model, and organizational learning, a qualitative phenomenological approach was used. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 training managers and staff in Doha. Findings show strong support for microlearning as a flexible, time-efficient tool for onboarding and skills reinforcement. However, challenges include technological limitations, varying digital skills, and concerns about complex training. Cultural and organizational factors also influence adoption. The study provides practical insights for integrating microlearning into hospitality workforce development.
