Integritas Guru PAI sebagai Hidden Curriculum dalam Penguatan Karakter Religius Peserta Didik Di Era Digitalisasi
Abstract
The digitalization era presents new challenges for Islamic education in strengthening the religious character of learners amidst changing interaction patterns, the rapid flow of information, and the evolution of digital culture. In this context, the integrity of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers becomes an essential part of the hidden curriculum that shapes character through exemplary behavior and school culture. This research aims to analyze the meaning and implementation of PAI teacher integrity, examine the internalization of the values of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah, commonly referred to as (Aswaja), through exemplarity and habituation, and explain the contribution of PAI teacher integrity to strengthening the religious character of learners in the digital age. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design at SMANU 1 Gresik. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using pattern matching techniques. The findings indicate that the integrity of PAI teachers is manifested through the alignment of values, words, and actions that are consistently internalized through religious habituation, school culture, and Aswaja-based religious programs. This process forms a hidden curriculum that reinforces the discipline of worship, responsibility, honesty, and the religious attitudes learners in facing the challenges of the digital era.
