Abstract

Introduction. Organizations operating in dynamic industries have been increasingly facing the challenge of selecting and adapting strategic frameworks that align with their operational environments and support sustainable competitive performance.Problem Statement. The lack of structured approaches to selecting and integrating strategic frameworks frequently results in misalignment between strategic objectives and operational execution, thereby reducing long-term organizational eff ectiveness.Purpose. This study aims to examine how the strategy development process can be optimized through an adaptive approach to selecting strategic frameworks that reflect industry-specific characteristics and organizational requirements.Materials and Methods. The study has employed case studies of Intellias, a global soft ware outsourcing company, by analyzing the strategic approaches adopted by five independent business units. The research has combined comparative analysis, evaluation of strategic frameworks, and assessment of the effectiveness of the implemented strategic models.Results. The analysis has identified both the strengths and the limitations of different strategic frameworks across the examined business units. The findings have demonstrated that certain frameworks have provided greater adaptability under conditions of rapid environmental change, whereas othershave become less effective when their underlying assumptions have not corresponded to the operational structure of the business units. Furthermore, the results have shown that combining complementary strategic tools within a hybrid framework has enhanced strategic coherence, organizational flexibility, and implementation effectiveness.
